Women Lawyers in the U.S. — Survey

While nearly half of the students in law schools were women in 2010, the number of women lawyers drops drastically as the income level rises. For example, in law firms (i.e., the best 50 firms for women to work in) women make up only 20% of the equity partnership while women make up about 45% of all associates.
